Step 1
To empty the wastewater, a single pipe will be suitable for this and is provided. This is the one the nozzle fittings on one end.
Step 2
The discharge valve is located under the vehicle and will be marked "waste". The handle to open the valve may be difficult to access and hard to open. To test whether it's open or closed, turn on a tap inside and see if the water runs out, adjust the handle accordingly. Make sure it is closed before leaving the campsite.
Step 3
Connect and push the hose to the valve, then secure the hose by using the levers.
Step 4
Once you are sure that the hose is connected securely, and the end of the hose is over the drain, open the valve. (Some campsites allow you to drive over a drain to empty your waste water rather than connecting a pipe)
Step 5
If you cannot drive over the drain then make sure the hose is attached and the end of the hose is in the drain.
Step 6
If the water is hard to get out, do not hesitate to raise and lower the hose. This dispels the air in the tank of the vehicle and helps to push water out.
Step 7
Once the tank is empty, close the handle completely before removing the hose.
Step 8
Remove the hose and store it in the motorhome until the next use. You can also re-open the valve to check that all the water is out. Make sure you close it before getting back on the road!
